Kutak Rock Partner Robin Perkins to Speak at Sedona ConferenceNews | April 10, 2023
The session, “Mobile Device Discovery: Challenges and Guidance,” will cover how mobile device data affects all parties (and often non-parties) in litigation and investigations, whatever their role or size of organization. Panelists will explore when mobile device data (including third-party chat or messaging applications) may or should be collected; the implications of BYOD and other company policies and procedures around possession, custody, or control of mobile device data; and privacy issues that arise when personal mobile devices are collected.
The Sedona Conference is a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) research and educational institute dedicated to the advanced study of law and policy in the areas of antitrust law, complex litigation, intellectual property rights, and data security and privacy law.
Robin Perkins is the founder and chair of Kutak Rock’s eDiscovery Practice Group and a member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice. In addition to her work at Kutak Rock, Robin is an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas School of Law and teaches a course on eDiscovery.
