Kutak Rock congratulates Omaha attorney Turquoise Early on being named to the 2022 Hot List by Lawyers of Color magazine. Lawyers of Color released the first Hot List in 2013. Since then, it has recognized junior and mid-level attorneys who exemplify integrity, high achievement, leadership, and a passion for diversity.

Turquoise is an associate in the firm’s Omaha office and a member of the Privacy and Data Security group. She assists clients with respect to data beaches, cybersecurity and compliance with both domestic and international privacy laws. Turquoise also assists with the negotiation and preparation of technology agreements including software license agreements, cloud/hosting agreements, SaaS, health information technology agreements, and general corporate transactions.

Turquoise is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), credentialed by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She advises clients in-depth on matters relating to U.S. federal and state privacy statutes and is well-versed in privacy regulations and obligations relating to the GLBA, HIPAA, CCPA and the EU’s GDPR. Turquoise specializes in drafting privacy policies and assisting clients in responding to cybersecurity incidents, including ensuring compliance with proper notification obligations for both governmental entities and affected individuals.
