Sisera Daniel, a partner in Kutak Rock’s Washington, D.C. office, spoke on a panel at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development in Washington, D.C. on May 26.

During the panel, titled “Creative Structures and Bond Transactions,” Ms. Daniel provided a housing bonds update and discussed certain tax, securities and bankruptcy law considerations underlying some of the structures.

The conference provided attendees an opportunity to reconnect and discuss the latest developments in affordable housing and community development law, and to consider broader forces affecting the nation’s affordable housing and community development resources.

Sisera Daniel is chair of the Public Finance Department in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She counsels governmental entities, financial institutions and non-profit organizations on housing and other public finance transactions.
