Amy Blumenthal, a partner and insurance litigator in Kutak Rock’s Philadelphia office, will present at the CLM Focus conference in Chicago in a session titled “Challenges and Duties for Design Professionals During COVID-19 and Catastrophic Events” on Tuesday, October 19 at 4:30 p.m. CDT.

The CLM Focus conference offers a specific attention to various content designed to address the most pressing professional needs. A wide range of important issues will be covered during the interactive sessions where attendees both in-person and virtually will participate alongside a cohort of like-minded professionals.

Ms. Blumenthal will address common questions in the field concerning construction and its delay due to COVID-19 requirements. Additionally, she will discuss the direction needed to be given to insureds before a catastrophic event and the duties insurance professionals have when there isn’t an actual contract that delineates the duties. Amy Blumenthal actively represents insurance companies in coverage-related litigation, and contractors in construction-related disputes and personal injury defense matters.
