Marcia Washkuhn to Speak at 2020 Wellbeing Partners Xchange SummitNews | October 6, 2020
With states reopening in the wake of the global pandemic, employers are planning and preparing for a safe return to the workplace. Ms. Washkuhn’s presentation, “Addressing Employee Safety Concerns and Accommodation Requests Related to COVID-19,” will examine the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) COVID-19 guidance and process related to employees who may be entitled to reasonable accommodations, as well as possible accommodations to eliminate or reduce the risk of COVID-19. She will also share the importance of planning for accommodation requests and what to do when at-risk employees don’t request accommodations.
The Xchange Summit is a professional development wellbeing summit that brings together changemakers in workplace wellness, human resources, and community health from across the region to:
- collaborate with communities across sectors for collective impact,
- connect skills with practical strategies and innovative results, and
- commit to improving health and wellness for all.
Ms. Washkuhn focuses her practice entirely on representing corporate and management clients in employment matters. She is chair of the firm’s National Employment Group, leader of the Omaha Employment Group, and serves as Kutak Rock’s employment counsel.
