Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that attorney Marie Wadler has joined its national tax credits practice group as of counsel and will be resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.  

Ms. Wadler focuses her practice on representing investors, community development entities and lenders in connection with New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) transactions. She also has an extensive background in commercial real estate, community development and affordable housing transactions generating Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Historic Tax Credits (HTC). 

Additionally, Ms. Wadler has a wide range of experience with numerous public subsidies and governmental initiatives, including HUD programs, the HOME Program, Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and tax-exempt bond financings. She has also represented nonprofit developers of multifamily housing.

Ms. Wadler earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law and her B.A. from Duke University. She is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. and Florida.
