Partner Amy Blumenthal to Present Live CLE Webinar about Fee Disputes

Amy Blumenthal, a partner and insurance litigator in the firm’s Philadelphia office, will present a CLE webinar titled “How to Avoid a Fee Dispute” on Thursday, August 20 at 10:00 a.m. EDT.

The webinar, hosted by the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Fee Disputes Committee, will offer best practice tips and guidance on how to avoid a fee dispute and shield oneself from the negative consequences of a lawsuit and/or disciplinary action. It will also cover the steps you may take if a fee dispute does arise. 

Additionally, Ms. Blumenthal will examine best practices for client intake, best practices during a client engagement, reasons for terminating the attorney-client relationship, and the fee dispute resolution process.

Amy Blumenthal actively represents insurance companies in coverage-related litigation, and contractors in construction-related disputes and personal injury defense matters. She is also experienced in handling employment discrimination matters and in counseling clients relative to employee discipline and performance management. In addition, Ms. Blumenthal has been involved in the national defense of clients on mass tort claims, including asbestos and benzene matters. She is co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Fee Dispute Mediation Program.
