Kutak Rock partner-elect Torri Criger and partner Tom Kenny, both from the Omaha office, were recently reappointed to leadership roles with the Nebraska State Bar Association’s Health Law Section for the upcoming 2020 membership year. 

Ms. Criger was reappointed Vice Chair of the Health Law Section and will serve on the Executive Committee. Mr. Kenny will serve on the Education Committee of the Health Law Section after serving on the Executive Committee for three years. 

The purposes of the Nebraska State Bar Association’s Health Law Section are to provide a statewide forum for attorneys to expand their knowledge and practice skills in all areas of health law, to better serve the legal needs of the health care sector, to promote education on changing trends in health law, and to promote the mission of the Nebraska State Bar Association.

Torri Criger focuses her practice on corporate healthcare, providing transactional, regulatory and compliance guidance for various types healthcare providers.  She also has significant experience in representing members of the pharmacy industry, including retail pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, veterinary pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers. 

Tom Kenny is Co-Chair of the firm’s national Healthcare Litigation Group and national Government Disputes Group, and leads the firm's State and Local Bid Protest Team. He represents corporate and individual clients in complex litigation and bid protests against private and governmental adversaries.
