Michael Textor, litigation attorney in Kutak Rock’s Springfield office, has been named 2020 president of the Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA), an invitation-only international honorary association composed of preeminent lawyers specializing in construction law and related fields. Limited to 1,200 fellows worldwide, CLSA’s main objectives are promoting superior advocacy and ethical standards in construction law and fostering a scholarly and advanced exchange of ideas in all practices related to the specialty.

Mr. Textor’s national trial practice involves primarily representing Midwest-based contractors, engineers, architects and developers. His vast trial and arbitration experience includes more than 100 verdicts and awards throughout the United States. In addition to representing contractors and design professionals, Mr. Textor is a trusted advisor to multiple universities and private developers for their construction and procurement needs.
