Kutak Rock partner Deborah Froling will moderate a panel at the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives’ (IPA) Women’s Initiatives Network (WIN) Forum 2019 to be held June 19 in Chicago. The topic is “Power in Action: Implementing Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives.”

As research continues to validate the importance of diversity, firms are actively seeking tools and resources to create and support inclusive work environments. Panel members will look at practical ways to create thriving and professionally satisfying diverse and inclusive workplaces.

The discussion will include practical guidance for launching a sustainable diversity initiative; how to engage leadership support; success stories; and ways to track and measure success. Ms. Froling remarked, “My goal is for participants to leave with concrete action items to take back to their own organizations.”

Ms. Froling has been a member of IPA’s Women’s Initiative Network since its inception, and served on the board of directors of the National Association of Women Lawyers from 2006 to 2016, including acting as president from 2013-2014.
