On April 16, 2019, the Denver office of Kutak Rock hosted a well-attended forum on the future of water resources in Colorado sponsored by the Dartmouth Association of the Rocky Mountains (DARM), an association of Dartmouth College alums living in the Rocky Mountains.

Four Dartmouth College alums with expertise in water science and law led a discussion on how this vital resource is being managed in Colorado and what can be expected in the future. Participants also viewed Chasing Water, a short film by National Geographic photographer and Dartmouth Alum, Pete McBride.  Gil Rosenthal, a partner in the Denver office, organized this event for the firm.

The forum panelists included:

  • Amy Beatie, Deputy of Natural Resources, Colorado Attorney General’s Office
  • Robin Webb, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, Earth System Research Laboratory
  • Melinda Kassen, Senior Counsel of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership
  • Bart Miller, Healthy Rivers Program Director, Western Resource Advocates

More than 60 guests attended the forum.
