Partner Andrew King Has Two-Day Run on Jeopardy! Game Show

On his first day of competition, Kutak Rock partner Andrew King got on the Jeopardy! board with a clue from the category “Remember the Ladies.” For $1,000, King answered “Who is Lorraine Hansberry?” to the clue “The first drama by an African American woman produced on Broadway was her ‘A Raisin in the Sun.’” King thrived in answering questions from multiple categories and also answered two Daily Double questions correctly. Going into Final Jeopardy!, Mr. King was in second place, and although he answered the “International Cinema” clue incorrectly, he won the game.

On his second day of competition, Mr. King entered Final Jeopardy! in second place. This time the Final Jeopardy! category was “Sporting Events.” Wagering his entire bankroll, he answered “The Masters Tournament” to the clue “This annual event held in 1934 includes play in areas named pink dogwood, flowering peach & azalea.” Though Mr. King answered correctly and doubled his money, he came up $1 short and was eliminated from Jeopardy!
