On January 23, 2017 Kutak Rock continued to expand its Twin Cities presence with its move into new offices located in the RBC Plaza in downtown Minneapolis. Since opening its Minneapolis office with three attorneys in 2011, the office has steadily grown.

The Minnesota office currently has 14 lawyers spanning several practice areas—ranging from litigation to public finance to real estate and energy—and looks forward to continued growth in 2017. The firm occupies the 34th floor of the RBC Plaza, with the option to add additional space as the office continues to grow.

“We are committed fully to growing our presence in the Twin Cities,” said Steve Likes, the managing partner of Kutak Rock’s Minneapolis office. “This is an exceptionally competitive marketplace for legal services, but we feel strongly about our growth potential here. The fact is, Kutak Rock’s culture and rate structure are attractive to clients and lawyers who are interested in moving law firms.”

David Murphy was one of the three lawyers who founded Kutak Rock’s Minneapolis office in 2011. He acknowledged that the office expansion was a milepost event for the firm.
