In the podcast, hosted by Institutional Real Estate, Inc., she explains that mentorship can be an important part of professional development. She outlines how mentor/mentee relationships can be established and how these relationships can be vital in advancing careers. She also describes sponsorship, which is different from mentorship and a relationship in which the sponsor becomes an advocate to speak on behalf of the person being sponsored when important career decisions are being made.
