In October 2015 Kutak Rock attorney Matthias Edrich participated in the webcast "Understanding Proposed IRS Rules on Issue Price and the Industry Impact” hosted by the CDFA // Bank of New York Mellon Development Finance Webcast Series, Council of Development Finance Agencies.

The webcast focused on the new proposal from the Internal Revenue Service affecting how and when the issue price of tax-exempt bonds is calculated. Edrich and John Vahey of Bond Dealers of America discussed various aspects of the new proposal, including its effect on issue prices.
