Kutak Rock Scottsdale attorneys Mark Lasee and London Burns were recently named Certified Ambassadors of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (“GPEC”). Certified Ambassadors assume elevated responsibilities of a traditional GPEC Ambassador in the role to communicate and inform stakeholders, policy makers and the general public about important regional economic development matters.
As Certified Ambassadors, Lasee and Burns will raise awareness of GPEC’s mission to improve business in the area and promote economic development. Ambassador Certification is received by attending six GPEC certified events within one year.
GPEC is an economic development group and strives to enhance quality business in the Greater Phoenix region and improve the area’s competiveness. GPEC was ranked as one of the top 2013 U.S. economic development groups by Site Selection magazine.
Lasee is a partner at Kutak Rock and focuses his practice on commercial real estate and business transactions. He is a member of the public pension/alternative investments group and concentrates on private equity and hedge fund investments. Lasee also represents lenders and developers in solar and wind energy projects.
Burns is an associate in the litigation department at Kutak Rock.
