Skylar is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions Group. Her practice lies at the intersection of an intellectual property practice and a commercial transactions practice.

She is passionate about helping clients grow and protect their intellectual property portfolios to maximize the value of their business. No matter the size of the company, Skylar enjoys working with clients that are buying, selling, licensing or developing technology-based products and services from conducting due diligence investigations involving technology assets and key licenses to negotiating strategic partnerships and licensing agreements.  

Specific focus industries that Skylar enjoys working in include software and cloud services, financial services and fintech, artificial intelligence and robotics and data privacy and cybersecurity.

Since 2022, Skylar has served as a member on the American Bar Association’s Legal Innovation Committee and has moderated panels for the Young Lawyer’s Division. She is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and is a contributor to the Legal Technologist, a UK publication.
