Josh has extensive experience representing corporate, partnership, and individual taxpayers in all stages of federal tax controversy including examination, administrative appeal, litigation, and trial.
Josh’s experience includes significant tax cases before the United States Tax Court involving complex issues including the tax implications of a guest loyalty program and debt equity characterization. He has played a vital role in all aspects of case development including discovery, motion practice, summary judgment briefing, witness preparation, trial, and post-trial briefing.
He previously served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Justice Peter J. Maassen of the Alaska Supreme Court.
