Michael partners with public and private entities of all sizes to finance capital improvement projects. He has experience with tax increment financing, community reinvestment areas, enterprise zones, new community authorities, joint economic development districts, general obligation and revenue bond financing, exemptions from real property and sales and use taxes, and Ohio and Federal tax credits and grants. He has experience in community improvement corporation and other special purpose entity formation and administration, as well as with traditional nonprofit entities.
Michael is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio, and has served in public office at multiple levels of government, giving him practical insight into the legal and financial issues facing governmental clients.
