Vijay Jagdish Patel

Vijay is a trial attorney who has successfully conducted more than 20 jury trials to verdict. Ambition, skill, and courage are traits he offers to each client. Litigation is a zero-sum game.

Vijay received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California and obtained his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University School of Law, graduating cum laude. In addition, he served as a Note Development Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review and was on the Dean's List for multiple semesters. Vijay also served on the Dean's Tutorial Society as a Torts and Contracts Fellow.

Over the course of his career, Vijay has strengthened his legal skills by working for federal and state judges, as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and at a national AM Law 100 firm.

He completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Otis D. Wright II, United States Central District Court. Upon graduation, Vijay developed his writing skills filing numerous Motions for Summary Judgment and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals briefs in the area of administrative law. He successfully argued in front of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Michelle Bond v. Colvin. In addition, he has taken over 40 depositions in the areas of products liability, breach of contract disputes, hospitality litigation, multi-district federal litigation matters, medical malpractice actions, and mass torts.
