Logan is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office whose practice spans the full lifecycle of intellectual property—from procurement and portfolio development to enforcement and dispute resolution.  

Logan represents clients in complex intellectual property disputes in federal courts across the country. His litigation practice encompasses patent infringement actions, trademark disputes, and trade secret misappropriation claims under both the Defend Trade Secrets Act and applicable state law. He has experience managing all phases of IP litigation, including claim construction proceedings, discovery involving highly technical subject matter, and dispositive motions.

Logan has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO across a range of technologies, including life sciences, mechanical devices, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence. He works closely with inventors to develop claim strategies that provide meaningful protection while building durable patent portfolios. His technical background allows him to engage deeply with complex inventions and communicate effectively with inventors.

Logan regularly negotiates and drafts intellectual property licensing agreements, including patent licenses and technology transfer agreements. He advises clients on structuring royalty terms, defining fields of use, and addressing issues of exclusivity, sublicensing, and termination rights.
