Jeff Makovicka on Community Reinvestment Act Modernization

Kutak Rock attorney Jeff Makovicka authored the article “Community Reinvestment Act Modernization: A Touch Up or a Total Overhaul?" for the September/October 2018 issue of Nebraska Banker.

In the article Makovicka explains that currently there are a number of possible reforms to the existing Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) framework, and whether regulators implement a significant overhaul or just a touch-up remains to be seen. Makovicka advises banks to submit comments to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
