Kutak Rock congratulates Edward Fox on his recent election to the Board of Directors for OutNebraska, a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower, celebrate and cultivate thriving LGBTQIA+ communities across Nebraska through advocacy and education.
For more than a decade, OutNebraska has fulfilled its vision by advocating for reform via local and state government, creating connections and celebrating LGBTQIA+ excellence and community, and providing inclusivity training. Fox will join the board members at large, who are led by a slate of officers and assisted by a team of staff members.
“OutNebraska has helped take the lead in fighting against legislation and policies that harm queer and trans children throughout Nebraska and I very much appreciate that the current board members thought that I was a worthy addition to their team,” said Fox.
Fox is a partner in the firm’s Omaha office and focuses his litigation practice on financial services litigation, government, regulatory and white-collar crime. He also serves as co-chair of the firm’s Kutak Pride Affinity Group and is a regular attendee at the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair. He periodically publishes articles in The Nebraska Lawyer related to LGBTQIA+ issues and is a 2024 graduate of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program, earning an Atlas Award for his exceptional participation.
