Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that partner Marcia Washkuhn has been selected as a Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation, a prestigious honor recognizing outstanding contributions to the legal profession and the community.

Selection as a Fellow is one of the highest distinctions that can be bestowed upon a Nebraska attorney. Each year, only a limited number of lawyers are chosen through a rigorous nomination and review process by current Fellows and the Foundation’s Selection Committee, with final approval from the Board of Directors. Honorees are selected based on demonstrated integrity and character, distinction in the profession or community, and meaningful contributions to both.

The Nebraska State Bar Foundation, a charitable organization, supports a variety of initiatives aimed at promoting the rule of law and improving public understanding of the legal system. Financial contributions from Fellows help fund important programs, including civic education efforts across the state.

As a newly inducted Fellow, Marcia joins a distinguished network of legal professionals who exemplify commitment to justice, leadership and service in Nebraska. Kutak Rock congratulates Marcia on her well-deserved recognition and continued dedication to excellence in the legal profession.

Marcia achieves favorable results for her clients in litigation and arbitration matters through thoughtful pre-trial motion practice, deliberative trial tactics and creative dispute resolution strategies. Clients rely on Marcia’s substantial expertise to guide them through challenging and complex employment law issues, with the goal of avoiding litigation, while knowing she will successfully defend them if litigation is inevitable.
