Kutak Rock is proud to announce that attorney Peyton Watts has been named the recipient of the 2025 Richard H. Krochock Young Lawyer Award by DRI, an international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation.

The Richard H. Krochock Young Lawyer Award recognizes one young lawyer each year who demonstrates leadership, professionalism, a commitment to the practice of law and significant contributions to the DRI’s Young Lawyers Committee. Peyton’s dedication to client service, mentorship, and advancing DRI’s mission exemplifies the values this award represents.

Peyton will be formally recognized at the DRI 2025 Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois, on October 15–17.

Peyton focuses on employment, trucking, construction, and complex commercial litigation. She has experience defending large trucking companies against negligence claims and regularly advocates for businesses in front of both the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and in the courts. Prior to joining the firm Peyton clerked for the Honorable Joe J. Volpe in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
