Kutak Rock partner Asher Ball will speak at the 2025 National Association of State and Local Equity Funds (“NASLEF”) Conference on September 3, 2025. He will be a featured speaker on the “Tax Credit Discussions” panel and will discuss low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”) transactions and the impact of the recently enacted “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” on the tax credit industry.

NASLEF is a professional, nonprofit association formed in 1994 to promote the efficient management of state and local equity funds. Collectively, member funds have raised over $20.14 billion in equity capital for rental housing developments throughout the country, creating or rehabilitating more than 206,659 units of affordable housing in 4,306 developments.

The NASLEF Conference presents an inviting platform for networking and staying updated on developments in the tax credit and community development landscape. Developers, investors, community organizations and third-party professionals will gain insights into prevailing economic, legislative and regulatory issues affecting the LIHTC industry. Concurrently, those who work primarily on the site level will have opportunities to enhance their understanding of tax credit compliance and LIHTC management.
