Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that Mark Winters has joined the firm’s Commercial Trial Practice Group as a transition partner in the Chicago office. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, premises liability, product liability and toxic tort litigation.

Mark is a seasoned trial lawyer bringing over 30 years of expertise in asbestos defense. He has practiced extensively throughout Illinois, including Cook, McLean and Madison Counties, and has appeared in more than one thousand asbestos defense cases.

Matthew Enenbach, who leads the Commercial Trial Practice Group, said, “Mark brings outstanding credentials and deep experience in toxic tort defense to Kutak Rock. We are excited he has joined the firm as we increase our litigation strength in Illinois and particularly in Chicago.”

He earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his B.A. from Northwestern University. Mark is admitted to practice in Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois and has been admitted pro hac vice in multiple states, including California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Texas.

Mark is active in the Executives Club of Chicago and Riverside Golf Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee.
