Kutak Rock partner Peter Barrett will be a featured speaker at the 26th Annual Bankruptcy Law Conference hosted by the Virginia Bar Association. The conference will be held this Friday, May 2, 2025, in Irvington, Virginia.

Peter will participate in a panel discussion, presenting on the topic "Effective Subchapter V Tips and Tricks." His session will focus on practical strategies and best practices for navigating Subchapter V cases, offering valuable insights to both new and experienced practitioners.

Peter represents unsecured and secured creditors, trustees, lessors, equity holders and corporate debtors in insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 reorganizations, business liquidations and loan workouts. He also represents clients in connection with acquisition of distressed assets and insolvency-related litigation. Based in the Richmond, Virginia office of Kutak Rock, Peter regularly appears in bankruptcy courts across the country to represent the interests of firm clients. He also serves as a member of the panel of Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees for the Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division and as a Subchapter V trustee.
