Jeremy Williams, a partner in Kutak Rock’s Richmond office, will speak at the Bar Leaders Institute of the Virginia State Bar Conference of Local and Specialty Bar Associations on Friday, March 8 at 9 a.m. EST. He will speak on the topic of engaging younger attorneys in bar associations.

The Bar Leaders Institute is a one-day program aimed at training and providing resources to current and prospective local and specialty bar leaders. Justice Cleo E. Powell will be the keynote speaker and the event will take place in the Halsey Family Hall at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture in Richmond.

Jeremy has served as primary counsel and co-counsel on numerous chapter 11 cases, including in pre-bankruptcy, bankruptcy and post-emergence capacities. He represents both debtors and creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy in federal and state courts and handles a variety of matters including creditor’s rights litigation, debtor workouts, chapter 11 reorganizations and contract disputes.
