Kutak Rock partner Peter Barrett will co-moderate a panel titled “Views From the Bench: Subchapter V Hot Topics” on the Trustee Connect Webinar hosted by the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees on March 31, 3:00 – 5:00 PM ET. He will be joined by moderator Jennifer McLemore, a partner at Williams Mullen.
Five bankruptcy judges from five different regions will participate on the panel:

Panelists will provide views from the bench on various Subchapter V hot topics regarding 523(a) discharge issues, Sub V plans involving actual disposable income, and other complex issues related to Subchapter V. Attendees are encouraged to come with questions for the Q&A and networking session, which follows the panel presentation.

Peter Barrett is a partner at the firm’s Richmond office. He represents unsecured and secured creditors, trustees, lessors, equity holders and corporate debtors in insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 reorganizations, business liquidations and loan workouts. Peter also represents clients in connection with acquisition of distressed assets and insolvency-related litigation. Peter regularly appears in bankruptcy courts across the country to represent the interests of firm clients.
