Kutak Rock partner Alyssa Willson has been re-elected to a two-year term on the Board of Directors of the Florida Chapter of Women in Public Finance. She previously served on the 2022 Board.

Founded in 2016, Women in Public Finance—Florida Chapter strives to further the goals of the national organization which are to support and advance the careers of women in public finance by fostering relationships and providing educational and learning activities that advance women’s leadership opportunities.

Alyssa Willson counsels community development districts and other types of special taxing districts on a variety of matters including infrastructure financing, real property, land development, construction and local government law. Alyssa routinely serves as issuer’s counsel on special district tax-exempt bond transactions.

Kutak Rock has served as bond counsel in more than 12,000 municipal bond issues aggregating more than $365 billion in principal amount in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories. Kutak Rock also represents issuers, bond underwriters and placement agents and bond purchasers in public financing transactions throughout the country. The firm currently serves as general counsel, including as issuer's counsel relative to the special district financings, to community development and special districts in Florida and Alabama, including multi-county stewardship districts for some of Florida’s largest community developers.
