Lisa Sarver, a partner in Kutak Rock’s Omaha office, will be speaking on a panel titled “Key Employment Considerations in Corporate Transactions” on Wednesday, October 26 at 3:00 ET during the National Association of Women Lawyers Corporate Transactions and Employment Law virtual seminar program.

The seminar will focus on potential employment-related risks and considerations for deal attorneys managing a corporate transaction. The discussion will include a conversation on restrictive covenants, risks associated with absorbing employees, integration of incentive plans, potential conflicts of interest considerations from an employment/deal perspective, and due diligence measures to be considered in advance of finalizing an acquisition/divestiture.

Lisa Sarver is a co-leader of the firm’s national Mergers & Acquisitions group and heads the Omaha corporate finance practice group. She focuses her practice on the representation of public and private companies and their boards of directors in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, restructurings, financings, and a wide range of corporate governance and other regulatory matters. She counsels board and independent committees on fiduciary duties, oversight of corporate transactions, the regulatory landscape, and governance standards.
