News | September 26, 2022

Aaron Myers, a partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office, will be speaking on a CLE panel titled “What Every (Yes, Every!) In-House Counsel at the 2022 IP Institute Needs to Know About Patent Litigation” on Friday, September 30 at 1:00 p.m. CDT during the 2022 Midwest Intellectual Property Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The session will explain the importance of in-house counsel fully understanding the potential impacts of patent litigation. It will examine the decision points, costs, challenges, and possible outcomes in patent litigation with the specific goal of enhancing in-house counsel’s ability to advise their clients in everyday matters.

Speakers joining Mr. Myers on the panel include Nicholas Boebel of Hansen Reynolds LLC and Michael Okerlund, IP litigation attorney and CEO of Cloud Court.

The annual Midwest Intellectual Property Institute features conference faculty drawn from in-house, private practice and government intellectual property practitioners. It provides updates on the new laws, new rules, new cases and current trends that private practice advisors, litigators and in-house counsel need to know.
