Peter Barrett, a partner in Kutak Rock’s Richmond office, will speak at the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustee’s Annual Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia on Friday, June 10. 

The panel, “Cryptocurrency in Bankruptcies,” will explore the types of cryptocurrencies that currently exist; the state and federal regulations as they relate to cryptocurrency and their impact on Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings; the rights and ability of a bankruptcy trustee to recover crypto assets; and the relevant legal issues related to bankruptcy cases involving cryptocurrencies.

Speakers joining Mr. Barrett on the panel include Camille Bent of BakerHostetler and Jolene Wee of JW Infinity Consulting, LLC.
