Peter Barrett, Kutak Rock partner in the Richmond office, has been appointed to serve as Chair of the Richmond Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section, a forum for the exchange of ideas and practices among attorneys specializing in bankruptcy law.

The Bar Association of the City of Richmond, the oldest bar organization in Virginia, aids in maintaining the honor and dignity of the profession of law, promotes legal science and the administration of justice, and cultivates social interaction among its members.

Mr. Barrett represents unsecured and secured creditors, trustees, lessors, equity holders and corporate debtors in insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 reorganizations, business liquidations and loan workouts.
