Kutak Rock Employment Law Partner Marcia Washkuhn has accepted an invitation of serve on the Federal Practice Committee of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. She will serve for a two-year term through Dec. 31, 2023.

According to the Court, the goal of the committee is to “give frank, objective advice to the judges, and take a leadership role in planning continuing legal education programs for lawyers engaged in federal practice.” Judge Brian C. Buescher, a Kutak Rock alum, is the Committee judicial liaison.

“I appreciate the Court’s invitation,” said Ms. Washkuhn, “and I’m excited to serve on the committee with such esteemed members.”

Ms. Washkuhn focuses her practice entirely on representing corporate and management clients in employment matters. She is chair of the firm’s National Employment Group, leader of the Omaha Employment Group, and serves as Kutak Rock’s employment counsel.
