This is the 10th edition of the annual analysis that reviews more than 14,900 U.S. law firms across 75 national practice areas in more than 125 metropolitan areas. To be eligible for a national or metropolitan ranking, a law firm practice area must have at least one lawyer in that practice ranked as a “Best Lawyer,” which recognizes the top 5 percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S.
