Sen. Karnes Provides Keynote Address at University of Nebraska College of Law

On September 30, former U.S. Senator Dave Karnes, head of the firm’s Government Relations Practice Group, gave the keynote address at the University of Nebraska College of Law annual international trade conference in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Conference—entitled “Global Trade and Business Law: 2020 and Beyond” featured international trade experts from around the country.

Senator Karnes spoke on the differences and similarities of U.S. trade policy over the past 30 years highlighting multi-lateral and bi-lateral trade initiatives, the benefits and challenges of each and discussed the trade and economic policies that are the driving force today with the Trump Administration, emphasizing the critical issues in the current key trade discussions and negotiations of our country with China and the United States, Mexico, Canada free trade agreement now pending before Congress.
