Ruth Marcott and John Schembari, employee benefits and executive compensation attorneys from Kutak Rock’s Minneapolis and Omaha offices, will be speaking at the International Foundation 65th Annual Employee Benefits Conference in San Diego, October 20-23.

Ms. Marcott’s session, “Introduction to Withdrawal Liability,” will be held on Monday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 22 at 1:15 pm. It will cover an overview of withdrawal liability, where/when it applies, methods to manage withdrawal liability and a review of experiences. 

Mr. Schembari’s session, “Compliance Tools for Benefit Administration,” will be held on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:30 am. It will address keeping your plans in compliance, fiduciaries, missing participants, efficient QDRO processing, practical steps, tools and tricks, as well as tracking methods to meet regulatory requirements.
