Refinitiv, the statistician for the municipal finance industry, has released its mid-year national rankings for bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, disclosure counsel and special tax counsel. Kutak Rock was ranked third for bond counsel, one spot higher than in 2018, with 199 issues aggregating $7.83 billion and 4.8% market share. Kutak Rock ranks first as bond counsel by the number of long-term municipal new issues completed in the first half of 2019.

The firm placed fifth for underwriter’s counsel with 113 issues aggregating $4.53 billion; eighth for disclosure counsel with 48 issues aggregating $1.9 billion; and sixth for special tax counsel with six issues aggregating $104 million.
