John Schembari, Chair of the Corporate Finance Department at Kutak Rock, spoke Monday, October 15, 2018 at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans’ Annual Conference in New Orleans. The conference hosts approximately 5,000 trustees and fiduciaries of employee benefit plans located throughout the country. It is the biggest event of its kind.

Fiduciary responsibilities were the focus of Mr. Schembari’s presentation, including due diligence, understanding conflicts of interest, potential pitfalls to avoid, ERISA issues, and lessons learned from major cases.

Mr. Schembari works with private, public and governmental employers on their employee benefit plans and compensation programs.
