Adam Hirsch Named to American Bankruptcy Institute’s “40 Under 40”

News - Press Release | October 10, 2018

Adam Hirsch, a partner in the firm’s Denver office, has been named to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 2018 “40 Under 40” initiative identifying 40 top industry professionals under age 40. The program “recognizes insolvency professionals who are committed to the highest standards of achievement at work and in their communities.” Mr. Hirsch, the only professional named to the initiative from Colorado, will be honored at a special luncheon during ABI’s 2018 Winter Leadership Conference, which takes place December 6-8, 2018, at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This year, more than 300 nominations were received and evaluated. Candidates were chosen from both large and small firms from every region of the country, and represent diverse practice areas such as law, finance, accounting, consulting, academia, government and more.

“The 2018 ABI ’40 Under 40’ Class is already advancing the bankruptcy profession forward,” said ABI Executive Director Samuel J. Gerdano. “Each of these remarkable young men and women are attaining achievements not just in their professional careers, but also as leaders in their communities.”

Mr. Hirsch represents clients nationally in all aspects of bankruptcy, business restructuring, and related litigation. Prior to joining Kutak Rock, Mr. Hirsch worked for a large New York firm, and represented clients in a wide variety of bankruptcy and finance-related matters before, during and after the 2008 financial crisis and subsequent economic recession. As a result, he offers a unique perspective to clients—one that allows him to help clients reduce exposure and potentially avoid bankruptcy altogether, or help clients seek solutions that preserve asset value, maximize recovery, and mitigate loss when bankruptcy cannot be avoided.
