Kutak Rock partner Penfield Tate will present at the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Annual Conference and Exhibition, June 11-14 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tate will take part in the Legal Program on Wednesday, June 13. The Program is titled "Legal Aspects of Water Infrastructure Funding Mechanisms" and will address current legal issues in the water sector, including federal and non-federal funding mechanisms; state revolving funds, municipal bonds and bank financing; and the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act. Panelists will discuss the legal parameters to consider when evaluating mechanisms for funding water infrastructure projects. CLE credit will be offered.

According to the AWWA, the Conference seeks to "inspire and connect the water sector with innovative solutions and new insights to help solve our global water challenges." Attending will be "hundreds of water industry thought leaders who will provide guidance on the future of our water."
