Kutak Rock’s Denver office ranks eighth highest among the city’s top law firms in percentage of women attorneys according to a recently published list from The Denver Business Journal. The ranking is based on a survey of law firms in Denver as of October 1, 2017.

Over 30 percent of the attorneys and 33 percent of the equity partners in the Denver office are women. Nearly two-thirds of Denver’s members on the firm’s top governance committees are women, with Tiffanie Stasiak serving as the office’s first female managing partner.

The top 10 ranking is a testament to the firm’s culture and commitment to diversity and inclusion. At Kutak Rock, women comprise well over the average of regional managing partners, governance committees, and overall partners, resulting in numerous awards and accolades for the firm, including recertification as a Gold Standard firm by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF). Additionally, Law360 named Kutak Rock among the best law firms for women partners in its 2017 Glass Ceiling Report, deemed a “super firm” for Women by NavForward, and the firm was one of only three AmLaw 200 law firms recognized on The American Lawyer’s Honor Roll for its high percentage of women who made partner between 2008 and 2014. The firm exceeded the benchmark again in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Since The American Lawyer set 30% as the benchmark for promoting women into partnership in 2008, Kutak Rock has been one of only three AmLaw 200 firms to consistently achieve the benchmark.

Kutak Rock opened its doors in 1965 with a stated commitment to a diverse and equal opportunity work environment, making focused efforts to hire women attorneys, helping them build and create business opportunities and grow as leaders in the firm and in their communities.
