Kutak Rock partner Mariza McKee presented on a panel entitled "Pay Attention! IIUSA Has Got Your Back . . . Let Us Tell You How" at the Invest In The USA (IIUSA) 2017 Industry Forum held October 23-25 in Miami Florida.

McKee presented along with Peter Joseph and Warren Oakes. The special session introduced the IIUSA's new Code of Conduct, which was adopted in August 2017. The panel discussed the new Code and its potential role in raising industry standards for integrity and professional business practices.  To see the new Code of Conduct, please click here.

IIUSA is the national not-for-profit industry trade association for the EB-5 Regional Center Program. Conferences are attended by investment and economic development professionals from around the world and provide information on legislative and regulatory activities that will shape the future of the EB-5 Program.  

McKee, a partner in Kutak Rock's Chicago office, focuses her practice on structuring, negotiating and documenting EB-5 financings. She counsels regional centers, private equity funds, developers, lenders, borrowers and community development agencies that manage or are otherwise involved with domestic and international equity offerings seeking EB-5 investment. McKee is chair of IIUSA’s Compliance Committee, which focuses on elevating ethical standards and integrity measures for IIUSA's members.
