The well-known legal blog abovethelaw.com listed Brian Buescher as one of three who were named as being considered for appointment to the Nebraska-based seat on the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. At age 42, Buescher was one of the youngest being considered for appointment to a circuit court by the Trump Administration. The administration later named 55-year-old Steve Grasz as the nominee for the judgeship.
