Kutak Rock partner Jad Davis presented on a panel titled "Public Assets: Risks, Rewards and Reducing Environmental Liabilities" at the Claims & Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance Conference in Boston on July 14, 2016.
Among Davis's topics of discussion were emerging environmental liabilities and mitigation options for public agencies potentially exposed to such risks; and environmental liabilities regarding municipal water suppliers (including lead contamination, legionella/Legionnaires’ disease and other contaminants and pathogens), the Gold King Mine waste water spill, Waters of the United States, and regulators’ obsession with vapor issues.
Other topics at the Boston Conference were Municipal Law, Professional Liability and Transportation.
