Thomson Reuters released its 2014 U.S. Municipals Review: Legal & Trustees, again including Kutak Rock LLP in the top 10 law firms for bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and disclosure counsel. The firm has been included in the listing as one of the most active bond counsel firms in the nation since the rankings were first compiled in the mid-1980s.

Kutak Rock was ranked fourth for bond counsel (305 issues totaling $9.96 billion). The firm was listed third for underwriter’s counsel (177 issues totaling $9.4 billion), moving up from a fourth place ranking in 2013. In addition, Kutak Rock was included as the eighth for disclosure counsel (115 issues totaling $3.9 billion).

Thomson Reuters based the rankings and volume totals on all long-term municipal new issues underwritten from Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2014. Thomson Reuters is a leading information source for the financial, legal, tax/accounting, scientific, health care and media markets.
