Kutak Rock partner Jay Selanders was recognized for his leadership at the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Recognition Breakfast on January 22, 2015. The honorees included Selanders, as well as Jeff Simon, Kansas City Managing Partner of Husch Blackwell, and Rich Baker, President and CEO of Starlight Theatre Association.

Selanders was acknowledged for his outstanding work with Kutak Rock as well as his commitment to the community. He is the managing partner of Kutak Rock’s Kansas City office and has been with the firm since 2007. Selanders revealed his secret to success is surrounding himself with smart, talented people. In addition, Selanders is Commander-Kansas Air National Guard and Assistant Adjutant General-Air for the state of Kansas. He will become Brigadier General pending Senate confirmation.
