Kutak Rock Chairman David Jacobson was recognized in the Omaha World-Herald’s article “A Buffett among 9 to be inducted into Omaha Central HS Hall of Fame.” Jacobson will be inducted into the Omaha Central High School’s Hall of Fame on October 2, 2014. All nine inductees are celebrated for their achievements and continued support and dedication to Omaha Central High School.
Central High School, founded in 1859 in downtown Omaha, was the first high school in Nebraska and remains one of the finest high schools in the country.
In the article, Jacobson is commended for his success as a corporate, civic and community leader. In addition to his accomplishments as a lawyer, he is noted for his involvement with nonprofit organizations, including service as a board member of Partnerships 4 Kids, board chairman of Film Streams and co-founder of the Omaha Black/Jewish Dialogue. Jacobson also helped establish the Central High School Foundation to raise funds for the school’s athletic facility improvement.
